NTU MENS HOCKEY

NTU Men's HC is all about playing performance, supportive culture and unique experiences. We play at the brand new Olympic hockey facility on Clifton Campus, competing in elite leagues, running social events throughout the year that involve the whole club as well as having separate team events. Both Men's and Women’s clubs along work together on charity fundraisers and community projects throughout the year to help maintain the profile of Women’s hockey being a top club at NTU both on and off the pitch.

Promotions

43 promotions across Wednesday and Saturday competitions. 31 titles and 9 cup wins in last six years most notably back to back semi finals in BUCS National Championship 24 & 25.

BUCS

All 6 NTU men's BUCS teams compete at the highest respective level after achieving maximum promotions and as a whole club being ranked in the top 5 universities for hockey the last 7 years.

Highlights

Biggest club highlight to date came in 2024, with the club supporting and raising over £3000 for the Movember charity, hosting a showcase event with over 800 spectators.

Our Team

Head of Hockey

Jack Rhodes

Jack joined NTU in 2022 after winning European championship medals and international caps. Working successfully as lead performance coach for a year before taking over as Head of Hockey. Overseeing all twelve teams that compete in BUCS and eight in weekend competition, Jack primarily leads both performance programmes helping to secure highest league finishes in NTU history.

Nicole Hull

Nicole joined NTU in 2025 as Performance Hockey Coach supporting both the women's and men's performance programs, as well as contributing to the development of the wider club and teams. Nicole is also an NTU alumni playing for the 1Xl during her time studying for her undergrad.
